My interest in sewing started at a young age making doll clothes without the use of a machine. My neighbor got a new machine and loaned me her treadle machine, and even I knew it was antiquated, but I was thrilled to have anything that worked and I found I could really make that thing hum. As I learned, I realized I needed more basic attachments like a zipper foot to progress in my skills. My parents took me to a store that sold machines and there was nothing available for that old treadle to help me. Little did I know my father saw a used Kenmore and was making a deal for that. When I saw them put it in the car I was practically leaping up and down with glee. That is the point that I really started some "real projects".

Many years have passed and of course now I have a modern computerized machine with lots of attachments and my most recent purchase was a serger to make my items even more professional. I like to make a variety of things and try to avoid a "cookie cutter shop".

My aim is to produce quality products with the idea of continuing to help people be more comfortable in life, whether physically with the use of a bolster pillow or just an enjoyment of pleasing combinations of colors and patterns.
